Details of the Shooting Incident
During the hearing, lead investigator David Hull testified about surveillance footage that allegedly captured Robinson on campus before the shooting. The video shows a man, believed to be Robinson, walking around in casual attire and purchasing a meal at Chick-fil-A approximately four hours prior to the incident.
Robinson reportedly approached members of Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA, but the nature of their interaction was not disclosed. Hull stated that Robinson returned to the campus about 90 minutes before the shooting, this time appearing to walk with a limp and wearing different clothing.
New Footage and Evidence Presented
The prosecution presented new footage showing Robinson allegedly jumping off a rooftop with an object shortly after the gunfire. Hull testified that a rifle was later recovered from a wooded area near where Robinson was believed to have entered.
