Tesla announced a significant recovery in its sales performance, revealing a 25 percent increase in vehicle deliveries during the second quarter of 2026. The company delivered 480,126 vehicles from April to June, surpassing expectations and marking a rebound from a challenging sales year in 2025.
Tesla's Production Numbers Show Improvement
According to the latest report, Tesla produced a total of 451,758 vehicles in Q2 2026. This production includes 442,936 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, along with 8,822 other vehicles such as the Cybertruck and the Tesla Semi. This figure represents a 10 percent increase compared to Q2 2025, when the company produced 410,244 vehicles.
The delivery figures also reflect a strong recovery, with 480,126 vehicles delivered, including 467,762 Model 3 and Model Y units. This is a remarkable increase from the 384,122 vehicles delivered in the same period last year.
Market Reactions and Expectations
Wall Street analysts had anticipated Tesla would deliver between 400,000 and 420,000 vehicles in Q2, indicating that the actual results exceeded expectations. Last quarter, Tesla reported a modest 6 percent increase in sales year-over-year, but this latest report signals a more robust recovery.
