Tesla achieved a remarkable 25% year-over-year sales increase in the second quarter of 2026, selling 480,126 electric vehicles (EVs). This surge in sales was announced by the company, highlighting a significant recovery from previous inventory challenges. The months of April, May, and June proved particularly fruitful for the automaker.
Tesla's Key Sales Figures for Q2 2026
The bulk of Tesla's sales came from its popular Model 3 and Model Y, which accounted for 467,762 deliveries, reflecting a 25.2% increase compared to the same quarter last year. The remaining 12,364 vehicles sold included a mix of the now-discontinued Models S and X and the much-discussed Cybertruck, which is available only in North America and the Middle East.
