Superstar couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce celebrated their wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 4, 2026, confirming months of speculation. The joyous occasion was announced by Swift's publicist, with the venue's giant screens displaying the message: "JUST&T MARRIED!" The couple, who got engaged in August 2025, have kept many details of their wedding under wraps.
Wedding Officiant Adam Sandler
In a delightful twist, actor Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony. Known for his comedic roles, Sandler also performed a humorous song during the event. Swift explained the inspiration behind her song "Wi$h Li$t" on Apple Music, stating, "He has this happy place where he goes into... This is where he escapes to mentally in times of stress, pressure, anxiety or chaos." Sandler has previously voiced his admiration for both Swift and Kelce, calling them "ridiculously nice" and "gentle, nice guys."
Kelce made a cameo in Sandler's Happy Gilmore 2, further solidifying their friendship. The choice of Madison Square Garden as the venue may also have been inspired by Sandler's film Mr. Deeds, in which he proposes to his girlfriend at the venue.
Elegant Dior Wedding Attire
The couple's wedding attire was designed by Christian Dior Haute Couture, specifically crafted by Jonathan Anderson, Dior's Creative Director. This marked Anderson's first couture wedding dress for a celebrity. Swift's publicist confirmed that both the bride and groom's outfits were created at Dior's Paris ateliers. Swift has a long-standing relationship with the brand, having worn Dior at various events, including the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.
