Monaco authorities identified a 39-year-old Ukrainian woman, Anastasiia Berezovska, as the suspect in a bomb attack on Vadym Yermolaiev on Monday night. The incident, which occurred at the entrance of a residential building near the French border, left Yermolaiev and two others injured, including a 13-year-old. An Interpol Red Notice has been issued for Berezovska, who is believed to have fled Monaco shortly after the bombing.
Details of the Bombing Incident
The bombing took place on Monday night, injuring three individuals. Reports indicate that the intended target was Vadym Yermolaiev, a 58-year-old businessman with Ukrainian roots and Cypriot citizenship. Authorities have not officially confirmed the identities of the other victims, but they are believed to be Yermolaiev's partner and teenage son.
Initial reports suggested that the suspect may have been dressed as a man, complicating the identification process. CCTV footage from the scene led to the early misidentification of the suspect's gender.
