Mara Brock Akil’s Writers’ Colony has announced its new cohorts for the 2026 summer and fall residencies, with programming starting on June 10 and September 2, respectively. Located in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, the colony offers a unique three-month screenwriting residency designed to help writers hone their craft and prepare for careers in the entertainment industry.
