Google is set to unveil its latest Pixel 11 smartphone series on August 12 in New York City. While the official invite does not specify details, the imagery suggests a design reminiscent of previous Pixel models. New reports indicate that these updated phones could see price increases due to an AI-driven component shortage.
Pixel 11 Design and Features
The design of the Pixel 11 appears similar to that of its predecessors, with the Pro and Pro Fold models potentially featuring a slightly thinner profile. A notable addition may be the rumored “Pixel Glow” lights, which would serve as a rear-facing notification and status indicator. Additionally, Google is expected to eliminate the base 128GB storage option for the smaller models, moving to a base storage of 256GB.
Pricing Details for the Pixel 11 Series
According to leaks, the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro are anticipated to start at 999 euros and 1,199 euros, respectively, in Europe. This represents a price increase of 100 euros compared to last year's models. In the United States, the Pixel 11 could be priced at $899, which is $100 more than its predecessor.
