Catherine, Princess of Wales shared new images reuniting with her family after successfully completing the Three Peaks Challenge on July 5, 2026. The challenge involved climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours, and aimed to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which supported her during her cancer treatment.
Catherine's Journey Through Cancer
The princess, 44, revealed her cancer diagnosis in 2024 and announced she was in remission in early 2025. She described her experience as a “huge shock” and spoke about the challenges she faced during treatment. Catherine stated, “The Royal Marsden is a place that holds great meaning for me and whose care and expertise are life changing for so many people.”
After completing the challenge, Catherine expressed her desire to raise awareness regarding the importance of holistic care in cancer treatment. She emphasized, “Every individual is different, and ensuring there is a whole person approach to care enables those living through cancer to manage the deeply personal challenge of diagnosis.”
Reunion with Family and Supporters
Upon summiting Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Catherine was greeted by her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, as well as her husband, the Prince of Wales, and her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. In a heartfelt social media post, she thanked everyone who supported the charity.
