The nominations were announced by past Emmy winners Liza Colón-Zayas and Jeff Hiller at 8:30 a.m. PT. Initially, the Emmys planned to announce nominees in two separate batches but opted for a single announcement to streamline promotional efforts for nominees.
Mariska Hargitay, a previous Emmy winner, will host the 2026 Emmys airing live on NBC and Peacock on Monday, September 14, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The Creative Arts Emmys will occur on September 5 and 6, where most trophies will be awarded.
