The tremor affected the capital, Caracas, and the port city of La Guaira, where rescue efforts continue amid a growing humanitarian crisis.

The US Geological Survey recorded the aftershock at a magnitude of 4.6, while Colombia’s geological survey estimated it at 5.1. This discrepancy highlights the ongoing seismic activity in the region, causing further anxiety among residents.
