Takeda Pharmaceutical Company has announced a strategic collaboration with Insilico Medicine to leverage artificial intelligence in early-stage drug discovery. This agreement, valued at up to US$600 million, was signed on October 20, 2023, and aims to enhance Takeda’s research capabilities across various therapeutic areas.
Collaboration Details between Takeda and Insilico
The partnership grants Takeda access to Insilico’s Pharma.AI platform, which specializes in biological target identification, molecular design, and clinical trial predictions.
