In separate conversations, the original cast members expressed their feelings about the nomination. Kyle Cooke described the moment as surreal, reflecting on how prestigious the Emmys are. "It’s a little surreal. You grow up hearing about the Emmys, the Oscars, these award shows that just feel so prestigious," he stated. He added, "this makes me extremely proud."

Carl Radke emphasized the importance of the crew, saying, "This is, honestly, the award for everybody but the cast. There are amazing people that work on our show that give up their weekends, give up a lot of their lives to make Summer House what it is."

Hubbard recalled her reaction when she learned about the nomination, saying, "I had the Emmy YouTube channel up, listening and watching the nominations, but I then had to jump onto a psych evaluation call… I was like, ‘Doc, hold on, hold the phone for a second.’"

The cast also praised the producers and crew for their hard work during a challenging filming season. Kyle Cooke mentioned, "We feel it on our show, perhaps more than others, just because we have that house as the epicenter, and we all gather, and you certainly feel like you’re part of a community."
