Palm Royale's Emmy Recognition
Palm Royale, the Apple TV+ comedy featuring Kristen Wiig, Carol Burnett, and Laura Dern, garnered an impressive eight nominations. These nods include categories such as production design, choreography, costumes, makeup, hairstyling, music composition, stunt coordination, and stunt performance.
The show's cancellation occurred in March after its second season, yet its recognition at the Emmys highlights the impact it had in its short run.
Poker Face and Other Canceled Shows
Poker Face, which was canceled by Peacock after two seasons, also received a nomination for stunt coordination. Series creator Rian Johnson has expressed interest in continuing the show elsewhere, now featuring Peter Dinklage as the lead actor.
