Support has poured in for US influencer Nara Smith after she announced that her two-year-old daughter, Whimsy-Lou, has been diagnosed with cancer. In a heartfelt video posted on social media on Wednesday, Smith shared that the diagnosis came after the couple noticed 'something suspicious' and sought medical help.

In her two-and-a-half minute video, which has garnered over 25 million views across Instagram and TikTok, Smith detailed the difficult journey her family has faced since the diagnosis. She revealed, "After a lot of X-rays, ultrasounds and a biopsy they immediately called us and said she had cancer. They told us it had spread and that she needs to come and start chemo treatment immediately." The emotional announcement has drawn support from various celebrities.
Among those offering well-wishes is award-winning singer-songwriter Raye, who commented, "My beautiful superwoman friend." Fellow artist Leona Lewis expressed her compassion by saying she was "sending so much love." Influencer Haley Baylee also shared her support, stating, "Sending so much love and strength to your family."

Smith, who is a mother of four, explained that processing the news has been incredibly challenging for their family. "Navigating this while post-partum, also loving and caring for our other kids at home and also being at the hospital with Whimsy a lot and balancing work on top of that has been really challenging," she shared.
