Justin Bieber will co-headline the FIFA World Cup Final halftime show alongside Madonna, Shakira, and BTS. This highly anticipated event is set to take place on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium. The halftime show aims to raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which has a goal of raising $100 million to enhance education and football access for children globally.
Exciting Lineup for the Halftime Show
In addition to Bieber, other performers include Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus, featuring talented 4th and 5th graders from Staten Island. Coldplay's Chris Martin is curating the 11-minute halftime show, which will also feature appearances by Kermit, Miss Piggy, and several Muppets to emphasize the educational theme.
The halftime show marks Bieber's first public performance since his much-discussed set at Coachella in April. Bieber expressed his gratitude, stating, “The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world.”
Supporting a Noble Cause
A dollar from every ticket sold for the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches will be donated to support this initiative, alongside financial commitments from Prime Minister Carney of Canada and Prime Minister Montenegro of Portugal. Shakira and Burna Boy have collaborated on “Dai Dai,” which serves as the official song for the tournament.
