The scene on Ocean Drive is lively, with a Huddersfield Town flag hanging from an art deco hotel. Locals play volleyball while fans from both nations mingle, creating a party atmosphere like no other. James Shipperley from Uxbridge, who traveled with his son Freddie, stated, “What’s the point of working if you can’t do stuff like this?” This sentiment resonates with many who view the event as a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Shipperley and his son spent £1,500 each on tickets, showcasing the dedication of fans willing to invest in unforgettable memories. The Clevelander Hotel is expected to host around 600 England supporters at its pool party, set to continue until the early hours of the morning.
Excitement Builds for the Quarter-Final
Fans like John Gallivan, who has been following England’s journey since June 3, express optimism about their team's chances. “I think we can go all the way,” he said, despite concerns about facing France.
