Annemarie Wiley, former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, filed for divorce from her husband, ex-NFL player Marcellus Wiley, on Monday, alleging years of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. The filing follows a police report made during a family trip to Orlando, where she claimed a battery incident occurred at their hotel.
Details of the Abuse Allegations
In her divorce documents, Annemarie Wiley detailed a troubling history of abuse, claiming that Marcellus has threatened her life in the past. She stated, "Marcellus has subjected me to a continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control, and intimidation." This revelation comes after an incident on July 4, where she contacted local authorities regarding the alleged abuse.
According to the police affidavit, Marcellus denied any physical violence, asserting that Annemarie's report was a reaction to her intention to divorce him. However, the responding deputy noted evidence of physical altercation, leading to Marcellus's arrest for domestic violence battery.
Criminal Charges and Arrest Details
Marcellus Wiley was arrested on July 4 and released the following day on a $1,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for August 4. Annemarie's filings also allege that Marcellus raped her multiple times, including incidents in 2012 and January 2023. She described an incident from 2014, the year they were married, where he allegedly punched her, resulting in visible injuries.
