Although bomb disposal experts found no explosives, police sources confirmed that the stolen vehicle contained an assault-style rifle and a handgun.

Minister Nunez noted that this incident follows a series of thwarted attacks in France, including a knife attack earlier this year. “Three attacks have been foiled since the start of the year,” he remarked, highlighting the ongoing security concerns in the region.
